Accommodation across the Expedition

Expeditions generally shunned away from traditional luxury, this has happened with the first adventurers who explored these lands. This is not the exception. All the chosen accommodations comply with the services so that our passengers have a good rest that allows them to enjoy the next day, but none is considered Luxurious but they are key to delving into the places we will visit.

Cassa Lepage - Buenos Aires
4 stars Hotel

It is a small boutique hotel with only 22 rooms, located in one of the historical neighborhoods of the city. Conversations between Pascasio Moreno and Ameghino passed through the streets of San Telmo years ago and even Darwin walked its streets. We have specially chosen this hotel for those reasons, but also because the hotel has a unique small museum with a very interesting collection. During the construction of Casa Lepage, the family that owns the hotel found traces of the ancient inhabitants of the place and saved them as a treasure and part of the history of the place.

Note O/S. We have chosen this hotel to accommodate the group as it is a place that combines perfectly with the spirit of our expedition. A place full of history, heritage but also modernity, excellent service and the peace and calm of being in a small boutique hotel in the middle of the big city.

Grand Bizo - La Plata
4 stars Hotel

Located in La Plata, its one of the most modern hotels in this city. Right in front of the foundational axis of this interesting city, a couple of steps away from the Argentine Theater and a few meters from the Plaza Moreno, the Municipal Palace and the imposing Cathedral, considered an icon of the city. The terrace is a must of this property: a good glass of wine with views to the foundational square is not to be missed!

Note O/S. This hotel was selected for its perfect location and good service

Los Acantilados - Puerto Deseado
Hostería

Hostería Los Acantilados is probably one of the most special accommodations in the area of Puerto Deseado. It is the historical inn of the town and one of the oldest ones in town. It still keeps the simplicity and the atmosphere of the first hotel establishments in Patagonia. It has a privileged location in front of the city's port, with one of the best views to the sea and the river.

NOTE O/S. As mentioned above, the hotel is quite simple, yet ideal as a one night base before heading towards Camp Darwin. Puerto Deseado has special treasures that we want to visit and that are part of our expedition, like the Swift Corvette Museum and the Railway Museum, which are the main reasons to stay one night in town.

Campamento Darwin
Eco Lodge

This place is located in Estancia Cerro El Paso, nestled in an extraordinary place where experiential luxury stands out. The house again keeps the simplicity of a remote patagonian place but also treasures amazing stories apart from being committed with the environment . The main house has 4 rooms: two doubles and two twins.

Note O/S. Without a doubt one of the pearls of the trip. The environment, the house, the hosts, everything is in harmony... Away from traditional luxury, those who seek genuine, simple and familiar places will marvel at this Lodge

Che Cauquen - Puerto Santa Cruz
Hosteria

Located in Puerto Santa Cruz, this is a 3* hotel with spacious and modern rooms. With nice views to the mountains, runned by its owners, it's the best option in town.

Note O/S. It is a simple yet nice hotel, with a very friendly atmosphere thanks to the owners who run the hotel by themselves. We will stay here only for one night, after a unique experience with the pioneers of Puerto Santa Cruz and before continuing our journey to El Chalten.

La Quinta Estancia - El Chaltén
Hostería

This Hosteria is located 5 minutes by car from the town of El Chalten. Located at the foot of Fitz Roy Mount and at the heart of the Los Glaciares National Park, its one of the oldests ranches in the area - founded a hundred years ago.

Note O/S. The property It is part of one of the ranches founded by pioneer in El Chalten. Without a doubt, its the best option for our expeditionaries where traditional luxury is replaced by experiential luxury, where we will be hosted by the owners of the place and learn about their family stories.

Nibepo Aike - El Calafate
Estancia

This Estancia is located 1 hour away by car from El Calafate. It has 10 single rooms in the main house and keeps the style and spirit of patagonic ranches. It was founded over a 100 years ago by a croatian pioneer and after four generations, the very same family still runs the estancia and welcomes passengers from all over the world.

Note O/S. The place has a privileged location at the foot of the Andes Mountains. The adventurous spirit of its first settlers is spread everywhere and it is possible to experience for a few days the real livestock activity in the south, which makes it even more of a genuine place, without great luxuries, unique.
