In line with our purpose of promoting more sustainable tourism and generating economic, social, and environmental value in the destinations we visit, Onesixth Expeditions has presented its 1st Sustainability Report at Abra Cultural, alongside colleagues and tourism providers who have been with us from the beginning.

This Monday, LATA announced the winners of the LATA Achievement Awards 2024 during the gala dinner at the renovated LATA Expo held at De Vere Beaumont Estate, Windsor.

As a company we have decided to undertake a sustainable path, not only because of the social responsibility to which we are committed in the territory, but also because we want our expeditions and trips to be ecological, responsible, and consistent with the idea of living in a better world from the beginning, with low CO2 emissions. In this note, Paula explains how we measure the Carbon Footprint and gives information about the methodology, international standards, and different types of emissions.

More and more tourists are concerned about the emissions that their trips generate in the environment. Especially passengers who choose sustainable destinations and experiences on their vacations. That is why at Onesixth Expeditions we want to avoid, measure and offset the carbon footprint of our trips. Every month we will share information about this and help understand the impacts of travel and also how to avoid, reduce and compensate.
